Come learn a fun relaxing art form that uses structured patterns to create beautiful images. This class will provide information needed to begin your tangling journey. Psi Iota Xi Sorority Scholarship

Psi Iota Xi is a charitable sorority that supports the arts, music, and literature. Kappa Chapter of Kokomo also supports speech and hearing projects, including its own speech and hearing clinic for preschool children in Howard County. Funds for these projects come from various sorority projects throughout the year and the Psi Iota Xi Thrift Shop, located at 1816 W. Deffenbaugh St. in Kokomo. Beta Lambda Chapter of Kappa Kappa Kappa Inc. will award two $1,000 scholarships to eligible Howard County high school graduating seniors. The Community Oncology Center at Community Howard Regional Health, located a t3500 S. Lafountain St. in Kokomo, will offer free colorectal cancer screenings during the month of March. This test is easy and can be done in the privacy of your own home. The results will be processed by the Community Oncology Center and returned to you via U.S. mail. Those over the age of 50 or who have a family history of colon cancer, may pick up your free colorectal screening kit at Community Oncology Center. The Kokomo-Howard County Public Library has narrowed down the list of nominations for the 2017 Howard County Reads book. The library asks that you to go to their website, KHCPL.org/hcr, to vote for your favorite book out of the nominees.
