    As I write this I am one day away from a milestone birthday. I was born in 1957, so you can do the math. As I grow older I tend to reflect more on life, and here are some of the observations I have made lately.

    Matthew 18 is a very important chapter in the New Testament. It gives us a great deal of information about what Jesus expects from us as we live our lives for him. He wants us to have a heart for his kingdom.

    The big day has finally arrived. The wedding is scheduled to take place at 6:30pm. In order to get ready, the bride arrives at the church at 5:00am. She is accompanied by all of her bridesmaids, who have but one job for the day—make her look beautiful!

    Gospel singer Aubri Colescott hopes to strike a chord with her debut worship album, Anthems and Arrows. In releasing a CD, Colescott hopes to use her music, talent, and personality to help people develop a more meaningful relationship with God.

    I didn’t plan it that way, but the top of our bedroom dresser has become the place to keep my hats—at least some of them. The four hats that currently rest there remind me of different roles that I play in life.

    A couple of deer hunters were walking across a field. They had been warned by the landowner that there was a mean bull in that pasture, but the hunters were not concerned.
