  • Tying into the last two weeks, research now proves that eating a fast food diet leads to an increase in depression. Dr. Sanchez-Villegas in 2010 showed that a diet that is high in trans fatty acids, such as fast food, leads to an increased risk of depression.
  • Last week, we addressed the problems of brain dysfunction with obesity, inflammation and food choices. This week, the topic of leptin resistance will be addressed. First, it is important to understand the role of leptin.

This drug is made from the opium poppy plant that is typically raised in Asia. The morphine substance from the poppy plant is naturally occurring and can be white, brown, or black (black tar heroin).

    Drug addiction is an epidemic in our community. Not only is it killing our people, it is leading to an increase of crime and violence that has rocked this community. There are different schools of thought when it comes to drug addiction. Some will say to intervene as much as possible and others will say to just let them destroy themselves.
