After above normal temperatures the past several weeks, major changes are in store for the rest of December. Arctic air is already moving into the Ohio Valley and chilly temperatures with chances of snow showers will remain in the forecast through next week.

The first clipper system could bring a round of light to moderate snow to Northern and Central Indiana on Saturday. There could be enough snow with the system to accumulate on grassy surfaces and make roads a bit slick. High temperatures on Saturday will only reach the upper 20's.

Snow showers and flurries will remain possible on Sunday and Monday. Another weather system will move into the area Monday Night and Tuesday with another chance of snow showers and flurries. Even colder temperatures will arrive by the middle of next week with high temperatures in the middle 20's.
