Logansport, IN (August 16, 2017)-  Logansport Juvenile Correctional Facility (LJCF) is pleased to announce the graduation of seven students with their Test Assessing Secondary Completion (TASC).  The TASC is the new high school equivalency test that has replaced the GED as the equivalency of a high school diploma.   The students and their families celebrated their hard work by attending the graduation ceremony and a reception held after the commencement.   Senator Randall Head gave the keynote address and spoke about employment opportunities and economic growth available to the students in Indiana.  Senator Head also spoke about taking personal responsibility for succeeding in life and how the students have a bright and productive future ahead of them.   Superintendent Lori Harshbarger stated, ”We are so proud of what these young men have been able to accomplish.   We are grateful for the time Senator Head took to encourage, support and challenge these graduates.”
