    I will miss seeing the Obama family in the White House. Mrs. Obama and her girls are beautiful women and the gowns and dresses they often wore showed to the world how much they valued womanhood.

    On behalf of Kokomo-Howard County Public Library, I am pleased to announce that 18 months of preparation is now in the rear-view mirror and the “Discover Tech: Engineers Make a World of Difference” exhibit is open to the public. KHCPL is the only library in Indiana to have the three-month exhibit, and one of only eight in the nation.

    The Kokomo American Legion Auxiliary Unit #6 president, Doris Ferguson, welcomed members and special guests including: Fifth District President, Linda Torpy, Laketon Unit #402; Fifth District Vice President Roxy Stoner, Wabash Unit #15 and Thelma Butler, Past Department President and current Fifth District treasurer, Laketon Unit #402, to the February meeting.
