The President of the United States has been called many things.

Intriguingly, Barack Obama has been labeled a Narcissist by quite a few. The definition is someone who is inordinately fascinated with themselves, to the
point of being excessively vain. It can be an erotic gratification derived from the admiration of one’s own physical or mental abilities as well.

President Calvin Coolidge said: “When a man begins to feel that he is the only one who can lead in this Republic, he is guilty of treason to the spirit of
our institutions … It is difficult for men in high office to avoid the malady of self-delusion. They are always surrounded by worshipers. They are constantly, and for the most part sincerely, assured of their greatness. They live in an artificial atmosphere of adulation and exaltation which sooner or later impairs their judgment. They are in grave danger of becoming careless and arrogant.”

Many felt it was a historic moment when Barack Obama won the Presidency in 2008, becoming America’s first African-American President.

Many bought into that notion of “Hope and Change” he campaigned upon.

However, polling has definitively concluded that many who voted for him have since had buyer’s remorse.

Many of those who make up my reading audience have said they’ve never seen an American President behave like Barack Obama or heard a President say the things he does.

Quite a few of the left-leaning political pundits are laying out that same type of admiration for Hillary Clinton that Calvin Coolidge spoke of. “What a historic moment it would be to have the first woman occupy the White House” they claim ahead of the 2016 election.

It’s not a stretch to say Barack Obama’s thoughts are continually in shades of gray - the lines of distinction are generally blurred.

Hillary Clinton, a truly radical liberal, like the President, sees the world through the same type of shades and is no doubt philosophically Color-blind to the truths of rational thought as well.

The President has repeatedly pitted the “Haves” in society against the “Have-nots.” He’s gone out of his way to divide the rest of us through race tension. You might say he’s the arbitrator of chaos, for he did little to halt the riots that occurred in the suburbs of St. Louis. And, most recently, reciprocal events of the same nature have been occurring in Baltimore.

Barack Obama likes to stir animosity between the homosexual and Christian communities and at the national prayer breakfast recently he repeatedly slammed Christians for their beliefs.

Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama are radicalized liberals who believe nothing can be simply black-and-white, true or false, or a given. Everything’s gray from their philosophical standpoint and can be interpreted as such, in leaning toward their benefit or agenda.

The President has insulted our allies on numerous occasions, while appeasing our enemies. The former first lady, too, has said we need to sympathize with radicalized Muslims even in light of their murderous quests.

The reality of it is America was once strong and the world perceived “No one better mess with us.” But, under the Obama administration, the President has dramatically downsized our military forces and America is now viewed as weak in the world. Under Mr. Obama’s leadership: “America leads from behind.”

When he first began campaigning for the presidency, Barack Obama listed his occupation as Community Organizer - his endeavors do appear to be organized, but questionable indeed. \Anyone who’s paid a visit to our southern borders can glean that they’re wide open and a dangerous place to be. It’s quite apparent that Mr. Obama has no interest in securing our borders. On the contrary, he’s been using the apparatus of government to flood America with illegals. His actions continue to endanger the lives of cherished citizens near our borders.

Needless to say, his behavior has been reckless, undignified, and unpresidential at best.

America hasn’t been better off under the Obama administration.

Liberalism has been destructive and those who think Hillary Clinton can guide America on a better path and enrich our heritage are sadly mistaken. They,
too, may suffer from philosophical colorblindness.
