  • Kings fall in opener
    As the season comes to an end, the mighty Lewis Cass Kings fell to the Manchester Squires 57-56 in the opening game of the IHSAA Class 2A Oak Hill Boys Basketball Sectional. 
  • Kings fall to Twin Lakes
    Lewis Cass fell to Class 3A No. 5 Twin Lakes 92-59 on Feb. 21. The Kings could not keep up with the Indians throughout the game due to the lack of shots and opportunities. 
  • Kings defeat Comets
    The Lewis Cass Kings flew past the Caston Comets 46-29 on Valentine’s Day. Earlier this season, the Kings defeated the Comets by 47 points in the Cass County Tournament. 
  • Sectional title back at Cass
    The Lewis Cass Kings wrestling team conquered the Twin Lakes Sectional last weekend. The team ended with 221 points followed by Logansport (168) and Rensselaer (148). 
  • Kings end hoops skid
    On Jan. 21, the Lewis Cass Kings ended its three-game losing streak with a 58-46 victory over the Delphi Oracles. Coming back from a tough loss against the Northwestern Tigers, the Kings proved their abilities throughout the whole game.
  • Wrestling team stands tall
    The Lewis Cass Kings had a great weekend and placed second in the Hoosier Conference tournament on Jan. 14.  Freshmen Cael Bernhardt and Sam Miller were seeded third and fifth for their weight classes, respectively.
  • Kings rock Tri-Central
    The Class 2A No. 12-ranked Lewis Cass Kings boys’ basketball team flew past the Tri-Central Trojans with a 75-43 victory on Jan. 7. The Kings led the Trojans 22-5 after the first quarter and never fell behind. By halftime, the Kings led the Trojans 38-11.
  • Kings take care of ranked Blue Devils
    The mighty Lewis Cass Kings boys’ basketball team battled and defeated the Tipton Blue Devils on Friday Dec. 16. The Kings continue its winning streak (4-0) with a 57-46 win over the Class 3A No. 8-ranked Blue Devils (6-1). 
  • Kings hoops win
    On Dec. 10, the Lewis Cass Lady Kings flew past the Maconaquah Braves 51-37. Savanna Thompson, a senior, led the Lady Kings with 13 points. Abrah Humerickhouse, a junior, followed with 11 points.
  • Nice weeks for the Kings
    The wrestling Lewis Cass Kings swept the Wabash Apaches 72-6 on Dec. 6. The team went 13 for 14 in the meet. Sam Miller, Noah Miller, Cade Cox, Cael Bernhardt, Hunter Carden, Connor Jones, and Aaron Willison all won by falls.
