  • The draw is complete
    Three hundred ninety-nine teams were drawn and placed into brackets for the 107th Annual IHSAA Boys Basketball State Tournament presented by the Indiana Pacers and Indiana Fever.
  • Western’s Poe wins sectional title
    The Carmel Greyhounds won every event at the IHSAA Noblesville Boys Swimming and Diving Sectional except one, the one-meter dive. For the second consecutive year, the sectional diving champion was Western’s Cameron Poe. 
  • Lady Tigers stall in Elite Eight
    A year before many envisioned, a young corps of Northwestern Lady Tigers swept through a talented field, won its first game of the Rensselaer Central Regional and found itself in the Elite Eight.
  • Tigers roll to semifinals
    Expectations were high heading into the IHSAA Class 3A Girls Basketball Sectional 20 at Benton Central High School for a trio of teams.
  • Grapplers advance to semi-state
    One week after winning its fourth consecutive sectional title on its home mats, the Oak Hill Golden Eagles captured its third straight regional title on the road at Peru.
  • Grappling to success
    For the fourth consecutive year, the Oak Hill Golden Eagles captured its own IHSAA wrestling sectional, but this title did not come as easy as past years as the Golden Eagles clipped runners-up Western 231-226.5.
  • Tigers second in the pool
    The Northwestern Tigers finished as Hoosier Conference runners-up at the league meet in the pool at Purdue University. The Tigers trailed champion West Lafayette 367.5 to 364 in a close finish. Western was third with 290 points.
  • Western hosts wrestling tourney
    At Western High School, the West Lafayette Red Devils captured the Hoosier Conference wrestling crown, outdistancing Lewis Cass 240.5 to 227. Western was third with 223.5 points. 
  • Northwestern girls on a roll
    It has been eight years since basketball fans have paid much attention to the Northwestern Lady Tigers basketball program. But that is changing – and quickly. 
  • Lady Tigers remain perfect
    The Northwestern Lady Tigers basketball squad traveled to Kentucky to play in the Hoops for Harvest Classic at Dixie Heights High School in Fort Mitchell.
